Trumper’s was established as a Gentlemen’s Hairdresser by George Francis William Trumper in 1875.Mr Trumper was not only an excellent barber, but also a master perfumer and soon gained a reputation as such amongst the gentlemen of London’s elite, gaining its Royal Warrant under Victoria's reign and continuing with five subsequent royal warrants to this day.
Their two shops, one in Mayfair, the other on Jermyn Street, both have fantastic atmospheres in part created by the mix of fragrances that greet you at the threshold coupled with the wooden cabinet lined walls containing a vast array of neatly lined bottles of various grooming products.
Whether you are looking for a traditional wet shave, moustache grooming accessories or simply want to step back in time for a few minutes; Trumper's is well worth a visit.
